The demands of climate activists and scientists are becoming louder and more insistent. Their demonstrations and disruptive actions are becoming increasingly uncomfortable and currently form the subject of heated debates regarding their adequacy. On the other side, politicians are committed to the Paris target of climate protection but are not taking the measures necessary to achieve it. With this background, the central question is: How do we achieve a good life for all without exceeding the ecological limits of our planet?
As part of the kick-off event of the Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems and Green.Building.Solutions. summer universities, this question will be discussed together with experts and possible solutions will be examined in greater detail.
The event will take place on 17 July 2023 at 4:30 pm at Großer Festsaal, University of Vienna (Universitätsring 1, 1010 Vienna). Live-stream available!
